I'd like to do Marine Science at usyd but i have no idea what the course is actually like. I'm also from northern NSW and dont have a clue what im going to do about living arrangerments.

any help with either of these problems would be great.

i haven't met anyone who does the course on BOS but anyway...i dont do marine science either but i can tell you what you can do about living arrangements

-go to college!!! i know heaps of people that go there are they love it
You dont really have that many options. It's either that or shared accomodation/living by yourself which in Sydney you dont want to be doing especially in first year when you're getting used to everything.

Would that friend be me, Nitya my dear? :p

Anyway, sorry it took so long to reply! I'm in 1st year Marine Science (MARS) - and it can be difficult, yeah. You don't actually do anything remotely mariney in first year - but you do have to do Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Biology and quite a bit of Math. It may sound scary, but it really isn't.

Second year is where the fun starts, and unfortunately I can't give you any feedback on that yet, lol. However, MARS as I've experienced so far is definantly worthwhile. I say go for it (but then I may be biased xD).

Uni has some pretty good colleges, as well as it's own 'village' (Sydney University Village) like 5 mins away. They're worth checking out :)
