Think of this: In plain and simple terms. I won't be biased against one or the other.

Engineering:
Engineering is a field of the practical application of science and math to solve problems, and everything around you. Engineers are problem solvers who want to make things work more efficiently & less expensively. They design, build and manage specific ideas and make them for practical uses (i.e. use them in reality).

Commerce:
System of the economy which consists of the environment and business.
