uni gets more confusing each day. now there are geneds and X2 and X1? where can i get some info on all this crap and what i actually have to do with this gened stuff?
yeah, log on to my.unsw, then student profile, then right hand side you got a link called something along the line of "General education". Or check your handbook.

My one starts on 19th July and last for only one week. but it works out overall the same number of hours compared to during-session gen eds. 9 to 5 everyday for mine :(

Ask us! The uni isn't very good about telling you about things like this ...

Argh! Just to warn people NOT to do gen eds during X2......There is SOOOO MUCH to learn in one week....*cries* i know cos i'm doing one right now.....

4-5 hours of lectures/lab each day. Test on Wednesday on monday and tuesday stuffs. test on friday on wednesday, thursday and friday stuff. then an essay. ARGH *sniffs* and i'm sick too.....:(
Well, this is for medicine gen eds anyway...(GENM0202) if you think you want to do this one, make sure you are exceptionally well in biology. It is all neurobiology and atatomy stuff. Requires really really good memories to memorise 100+ terminologies a day....

mmmm....yeh we really should've mentioned winter session is less organised and more crammed than summer session, which has XA XB and XC sessions.

On the bright side, you'll have less load elsewhere.
