....okay....this is probably going to sound dumb, but can u chane the little wors under peoples main name??? Like i mean my name says

can i change the "new member" part? and if so, how do i go about it?

as you accumulate posts your status will automatically change... new member, assistant member, member, senior member... etc etc
roughly every 50 posts you get promoted.

until you get to the level where you have the privlidge to assign your own name

No you can not change it , it will change when you get more posts. The only way to change it is to be selected as a mod.

that or u get alot of rep from ur posts or u joined b4 a certain date

you can change your CS after a certain period of time as a member or after you have accumulated a certain number of posts(about 500 I think) (whatever comes first)
Rep doesnt come in to it until about 200 points...nor do the mods.

An admin on the other hand.....

Taken straight from the Bored of Studies FAQ:

How do I get custom status under my nickname on posts?
There are several ways to be awarded custom status:
* Your post count is greater than 3000
* You have over 200 rep points
* You have been a member of Bored of Studies for a long time

Custom status can be changed from the user control panel.

I think "you have been a member of Bored of Studies for a long time" means 260 days. You can also change it once you become a moderator.

Okay, this should be fixed up now.

For custom status, you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

a) Reputation of at least 125 points.
b) Registered for at least 260 days.
c) Made at least 2000 posts.

It could be up to an hour until the changes take effect.

They were the old conditions. I think they have now been updated as per the FAQ.
