Whats the quality of Arabic Courses? (1 Viewer)

ANU has Arabic courses, but wanted to get first hand knowledge of the quality of the course.
Any1 have any idea, also req level too?

I'm sorry i don't think any of the ANU BOS' do Arabic (unless anyone is willing to correct me). Actually, i might know someone. I'll ask them about it next time they're on facebook. Your best bet is to speak to the first year lecturer generally about the course and find out what the go is. There would probably be a very limited number of students.

The people I know who do it seem happy enough doing it, but that's probably not alot of help to you. The asian studies faculty is across the road and it's very good .

Req level of?? Ability? All languages at ANU have placement tests which you sit. HSC equivalent knowledge lets you skip the first year beginner courses.
