Is it an add on to the BSc(info tech) course?

Is it limited places based upon GPA?

What sort of work experience do you get? do they send you to decent companies? Or just to a local chinese computer shop? heehe

It is an add on to the BScIT course. It is not compulsory and those who do not undertake the DipITProfPrac will only be awarded BScIT when they graduate.
