I'd hate being dumped in any other way but face to face.. but on the other hand.. alot of people cant do it face to face coz they will feel bad about it.. its just too hard for em.. i think if it was a meaningful relationship it should be done face to face.. but if it was a fling.. email or sms sounds fine

Agreed. Especially if the other person is like super sensitive...you just don't wanna make them feel bad.

i was in a relationship with a really really scary, angry, violent type of guy and when i wanted to break up with him i wasn't going to take the chance of meeting up with him by myself to tell him it was over.

being dumped by sms is the worst, email comes in just as close but sms is worse... Id break up how my friedn was dumped.... He rang and said "we have to talk" then he picked her up in the car and drove around the block with her in the car and told her then ... and then droppped her home..

It was the decent way to do it... better than email, sms or anyhting and it hurts more to if its doen over a fancy dinner etc

I was dumped over msn which was pretty sucky, but worse because the jerk only lived around the corner from me, so it wasnt exactly hard for him to see me face to face

Sms is worse, cause it means they were willing to pay money in order to break up with you, be it 20c or whatever, its the principle. With email they probably havent connected to the net just to write the breaking up email and might have done it on the spur of the moment
