Mine are at the end of term 2. This is gonna suck cause we won't be finished the whole syllabus by then :( My prinicipal changed it so ppl that do MWs can be free later on, which in one way is a bonus :)

MWs?

Anyway I have a two week gap after my holidays (which are 3weeks long) and then have my trials. Trials at our school are all about 40-50%. 3u Maths is 30 and english is 22.5% for some reason. I really need to gun those trials and my half yearlies which i have juist finished.

Didnt feel like exams though (the half yearlies)

not fair... 3 weeks holidays...

According to my school diary i only have 1... that better have been a misprint...
i've allready been told that i have an E.E.2 assessment as well as an E.E.1 assessment over the holidays.. leaving me with almost no time to study for trials.. but i guess i'm gonna have to be studying at least 12 hours perday... that's including the time i work on my assessments and on my E.E.2 major work...

but our trails r only about 20-30%... or maybe 25-30%... 3u maths i think is 20... how come urs is 30... thats a killa if u stuff it up... well even 20 is a killer but 30 is a chopper lol...

Ahh from week 9 this term until week 6 of next term.. i will probably have no days rest... ok maybe a few ... but hardly any... everythign is just going to be so crammed up...

damnation.... i think ur principle is the best... that is so considerate... and well ur worried about not completing the syllabus by the end of this term (or before ur trials).. try not completing the syllabus for physics up until maybe 2 days before the actual HSC exam (slight exaggeration... but thats really how slow we're going)...

waaaa... thats alot of assessment tasks ... i have quite a few but i think most r exams... well especially for maths.. i have like 2 assesments for 2 units maths.. and 1 for 3 units... and i have my physics half yearly in 2 weeks (lol.. i still havn't had it yet)...

but trust me joe... be happy... I'm sure u'd rather have them now.. than have them during the valuable time u could be spending studying for ur trails...

are u going to spend the whole holiday doing the one assesment....?
(ur starting to sound like me during the previous holidays were i spent 2 weeks worrying about doing the assesment and spent the last 4 days... actually working on it)

2 major works is alot of work.. but of course i wouldn't know i only have 1 major work... so all i can say.. is hang in there joe.. and everyone else in a similar situation... It'll all be over soon... very very soon.... very very very soon.. sooner than u can imagine...

term 3 wks 3-5 which means our trial exam will be identical to the hsc in format and in the stuff examined. All of mine are 25-30% so i'm just going to treat them as the real thing.

In terms of assesments i like the way most of the subjects at my school do it in that this term is totally jam packed but after its over all we have no more assesments which means we can just study for our trials/hsc. Well i have one more modern assessment but thats just cause the whole history staffroom is one unorganised mess with incosistant and bias marking schemes (but thats my own personal vandetta so i wont go there).

I feel bad for you having them so early, i understand the major work thing, having 2 myself but i just feel that if the trials exactly the same as the hsc ie everything is tested they are more benificial.

Gotta love those Catholic trials if you're from a non-Catholic school; they're well put together.

Mine are the first week of September...with all the campus' subjects worked into the one week. So its for certain that all my tests are going to be on consecutive days if not worse.
