No that can't be right.

Fees are always due the first friday back; 30th July.

I think what the 30th August refers to is the last possible day to pay them, since HECS Census is August 31st.

i *think* its a combo of both .......
for hte union fees part of it, it has to be 30th july. but since census is end of aug, those paying uni fees upfront have till the 30th of aug to pay subject fees

The $240ish is a number of compulsory fees put together, which includes the union fees.

Exactly. "Fees" are due 30th of July, "HECS (Upfront)" is due 30th Aug.

Failure to pay fees according to the University's payment guidelines may result in a student's enrolment being cancelled.
Always remember, fees are always due the first week back. Pay them!

The top list was due on July 30th. There is an "extension" so that these are due on the 31th of Aug.

The other fees (your HECS) is due on Aug 30th IF you are paying upfront. If not, they are not due ...

You can actually get away without paying your fees all the way through session. It's just that they won't give you your results at the end of session. I'm also not sure if you can use the subjects that you did as prerequisites.

But they don't actually dis-enroll you if you don't pay them on time.

You are also ineligible to vote in Union and Guild elections. A nice excuse to tell the people who put how to vote cards in your face.
