meaning, tower building and building 2. it just looks so old.. and brown.. and lacking of grass and trees =\

they ve started renovating the bottom floors of building 2 which are pretty much finished at the moment

i doubt they 'd renovate the outside

(its so fricken dam ugly though)

Once the Building 4 renovations are done, they'll probably redo the grass out the back and it'll be how it used to be before hopefully.

true true, i find uts much more multicultural.

and being near chinatown is actually a good thing. so many food choice nearby, not just chinese.

Why did UTS choose the brown exterior to start with? They could have made it incredibly nice if the Tower was made of a glass exterior for example?

well it was built a few decades ago. i guess brown was in style then.

The UTS Tower building is currently the 53rd tallest skyscraper in Sydney at 123m tall (not taking into account any buildings currently under construction). Between like rank 20 and 100 there is only like 1-2m increments.

Just thought people would like to know that.

In comparison, the new World Tower is the 4th tallest skyscraper at 230m, while the Chiefly Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Sydney at 244m. The tallest building in Sydney is obviously the Centrepoint (Westfield?) Tower at ~309m.
