How do things like this work? Do they wake up one day and decide to unveil ipods or will there be a lead up for weeks? I can't find much on the new ipods, just speculation

Apple keep most of their new products under wraps until they are released. In fact, fan sites are getting sued by Apple for posting leaked information about upcoming products.

That rumour doesn't really affect me. The internal battery has never really swayed me, probably because I haven't done enough research. I would like to hear rumours on the release date though.

lol I googled it and realised the 5th generation ipod is the next one they will release, meaning this whole thread and my original questions were about 5th generation ipods, meaning i the questions i just asked are redundant
