My school doesn't have work experience instead we have 'community action' where we have to go out in nursing homes and volunteer for a week...

I guess it's good we're helping out but I would much prefer work experience!

It always helps as it all goes on your resume, but most people won't know what they want to be yet anyway.

Actually, the question is correct. "In your work experience, would you be doing something which you envision yourself doing in the future?"

All my friends went to big places like vets, Offices and larger companies. but I chose my small local shop around the corner. It was really fun and I learned a stack of stuff plus I scored myself a part time job. All in all It was awesome.
