Huy,

I'm having the same problems with the percentiles....
for example, in business studies I achieved a band 5, with 82

and it says next to band 5, that there were 22.27% of the State that achieved between 80-89

my question is, should i simply subtract this figure from 100 to get my State percentile, or do I have to also subtract the 5.9% that got into band 6 as well?

thanks 4 that :)

@Creator, I don't even use the percentiles, so I wouldn't know.

I had done it in the past (last year), but I've forgotten how to do it.

I remember it was called "LazSeeker Advance" or something, hehehe (the method, which is more accurate).

I can't really remember, maybe Laz will help you out, because I remember a "guide" on BOS, maybe a year and a half ago.

Percentiles: If you have 10% in Band 6, and 20% in Band 5. And you get a 80 for your HSC mark. Then you're in the Top 30th percentile. (Or from the UAC tables in the 70th percentile.)
