Friends or the Radio, with it tending to be JJJ or MMM (only one band from MMM, and that was Lit, long, long ago). 96.1 fm was a great station for newish artists back in its youth rock days, but then it went all britney.
Also, as sad as this may seem, LANs are great for anyone seeking a different/new artist or two.

I just had a look at that website and I don't really think it is that good because it doesn't have recommendations of another bands based on a band you look up or recommendations from other people. That is why I like amazon.com so muchLoz#1 said:

Yeah it does have some good unknown bands and if you had the time (or a broadband connection) you could probably go through them all and find some great bandsLoz#1 said:

But if you wanna find some good bands, usually you can goto other bands websites and they'll have some great links to other bands.
