i volunteer at the salvos so i can get you the best ties with the least dirt, fecal mater on them if that would help. they may cost 50c but their perceived value is probably around the $5 mark

Tie Rack. There is usually one at most westfields, not hard to miss...cause...well...all they sell are ties :)

Their ties are not cheap though, but remember, you get what you pay for.

I dont know about you (OP) but i like to be sure that the clothes i buy is of good quality, so i'd rather buy a nice, decent branded tie and be sure that its made of good quality materials rather than buy a cheapy one, put it through the wash and only have it come out looking like a rag or scarf.

I purchased a Blaq 'Slim Line' tie recently from Myer, love it, not too skinny and its not as fat as a traditional tie either. $50.

me 2 with regards to good quality clothing (except sometimes when i dress to look shit olol)

once i started looking at lower priced ties i realised i probably did not want to pay under $30/tie

Yeah...if i was to look for business/work-ish clothing then i usually always head to myer or dj's first...its just...everytime i seem to go in there, theres always the stuff i want and sales are always on as well...

Myer did have, last time i was there, a sale on most tie brands including Blaq and Van Huesen etc etc.

But really, if your after just any tie, and myer/dj's aint your thing, then literally ANY decent mid-range clothing store that has business/work clothes will have ties that are half decent. Look for stores like .Yd, Man to Man, Roger David so on and so forth.

...and theres always ebay :haha:

yeah, i'd agree with myer/djs
spesh last weekend, myer had this massive 1 day sale on saturday at the george st store and they were selling van huesen ties for $35 :)
but i ended up buying a blaq scarf for $25 instead :)

If you want a good tie you'll be spending at least $50 on it. Myer CBD has some $150 ones marked down to $50 at the moment because they're last season's stock.
