Which version of Hamlet to watch? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering as to whether which movie adaptation of Hamlet is the best to watch? We have been shown select excerpts from the 1948 adaptation at school, however I am leaning towards the 1996 version. What do you suggest?

The 1996 version is good, since it has every word of the play in it, however it's extremely long and is set in a different context to that which is depicted in the real play.
