I know this comes off as racist, but how many people at MQ (estimate percentage) are white or are Asian but have grown up 'westernised' and are relatively sociable?

if by white/'westernised' asian you mean non-international-student-from-asia, they're the vast majority of students on the western side of campus (humanities/scmp).

Most of the international students with asian backgrounds are EFS students.

I belong in the latter group. However, I am a ICS student. But I do a couple of EFS units. I have friends who are also "western" asians who are EFS students. But they are in the minority, compared to international students, who are seriously everywhere in the EFS world.

Not really, as far as I know ICS would probably be a better indication for maths-skills, accounting etc seem far less theoretical maths but applying formulas.

Having said that, the number of asians involved in ICS isn't terribly good at dismissing that stereotype either.

Frankly, I'd be interested as to the break-down of EFS students if we were to take out international students. I would hedge a bet it'd be a lot more diverse.
