Labor doesn't just provide for people earning under 52 000. Looking at Labor's Tax and Better Family Payment Plan, a single worker with no children, on $10 000
a year wil gain $181 annually, a single worker on 40 000 a year will gain $416 annually while a single worker on 55 000 will gain $476, compared to the Coalitions $360 for this worker.
Currently under the Coalition, anybody who earns less than 50 000 do not get ANYTHING. Its here if anybody wants to look at it, the very last page.
Labor is effectively rewarding the majority of Australian workers, as Asquithian said the median wage is 43 000, while at the same time not even stripping the wealthier incomes of their gains.
I used the single worker, no dependant children as an example because that would most likely be US for the next 15-20 years. So have a look at it and see how Labor's Plan benefits people like US.
On that note, mum voted Labor second preference Greens.
