I got 99+ and accelerated, but the subject I accelerated in didnt even count towards my UAI

no tutoring, i dumped my evil maths one who told me if i tried realli hard I might get 80 but i got 92 so ha ha....u suck

probably most people (including myself)... the best question is 'who got 99+ and didn't have tutoring, didn't accelerate, didn't go to a private or selective school, received no help from parents(e.g. teachers)/older siblings, didn't bribe their teachers/principle or anyone at Board of Studies and didn't cheat in anyway during the HSC.' I would say i satisfy all those requirements (EDIT: except the selective school part, but it was a shit one anyway, ranked 169 in the state)

I got 98 and could have gotten 99 if I had of worked. Does that count?

in fact most of the 11 .95s and hundreds from our year would fall into that category. our school does not allow acceleration.
