the best thing you can do now is either watch the important bits taht ur teacher went over with u in class, or just remain calm and remember the stuff u were taught. There have been plenty of peiople over the years who have done alright and havent even read their set text. (ie Emma) There are even people in my adv english class who havent even read Emma >.> The main thing is understanding the stuff you are taught about taht text, and if u do, you are set anyway. The main downfall of not having been exposed to a set text is not being able to draw your own conclusions, ideas, observations and link them effectively to your thesis and points

thanks for the advice dude, very helpful. i cant rely on what my teacher taught as i jigged class the whole year (LOL) hehe, i might just prepare a generic essay usign the study guide. iwill watch certain parts of movie and try to incorporate my own ideas too.. hopefully i can fluke it and make it not look copied/generic <- marked down for this?

I havent read more then half of the book for one of my modules essays. Dont plan to either. About 20 people out of 75 would of read it, its a terrible book. A lot of people dont read or watch set texts its not that bad.
