I am pretty sure Chuck Berry was the original and The Beatles just did a cover song for it.

ok, i can spell fine - my typing just isn't so crash hot! If it had showed that I had made an arse of myself, maybe your point would be valid. but it didn't, so it's a fairly moot point. I'm sorry to shatter your little fantasies, but if you thought that that was high-brow, you need to conduct a massive re-evaluation of your capacity to understand the subtleties of the english language from which 'high-brow' humour has its source.
however, i do feel that since this is a completely empirical argument which neither of us is going to come out of looking any good at all - not to mention the fact that it is completely and utterly off-topic - that we should just abandon it.
