yeah when i did my HSC, our careers advisor and Deputy Principy kept plugging boredofstudies.

They warned us not 2 get addicted to the forums tho.. and to spend our time on it "wisely" haha

It was made cause of lack of information relating to the "NEW" HSC back in 2001.

There have been a few forums before this one .. I guess this is the one that really took off.

(But lets not forget the old PHS people who started the forum doobie back in '01 ... legends ;D)

I think Fatmuscle was the one who kickstarted the idea before BoS was even created. He has a site of his own. It had all the notes he had written up for the subjects he was doing. I think it's still running. (I might of messed the names up, it was either timbk2 or fatmuscle...i forget. :p)

Yeah as ian said the guys came around promoting BoS at schools in 01/02.

CHANG! OH CHANG! HE'S SO HOT! (and then you have me going.. 'who's chang and how come everybody knows him except me?!')

Minai is the king of DDR, he can't own BoS as well..

Not to mention fatmuscle, copious, and moo (hehe, he's a popular one around these parts), amongst others, who created their own sites to provide notes and the like.
