I used to think as a 12 year old that Kim Basinger was quite a good bond girl..god she hasn't aged well though.

And you need a more complete list that that, but any Connery-era or Brosnan-era (the two best, save DAD) girl was at least semi-decent.
Quit the Halle Berry thing, I only put it in to appease the masses! Hell, I even think that the evil girl in that movie was better than her. Anyway, I can think of a few doozies in that era besides the obvious. From Russia With Love was god awful. Michelle Yeoh was good in the World is Not Enough (and she did her own stunts) but she was fairly old, around 40 at the time of shooting. Not quite a Bond girl, more of a Bond woman :p

And Octopussy from the Dalton movies was great. I also thought that girl from Moonraker was fairly cute, but maybe that's just me.

why don't you like diamonds are forever?
it's one of the most cheesy and camp efforts from roger moore

rarely do you see action movies so weird

my mistake, sorry
it's the last connery one

the fact it makes no sense is a charm
it's not like bond movies are valuable for their stunning plots or anything
this one has weird shit like gay villains and a black woman turning into a gorilla :p

*giggles* For all the Lee Tamahori "fans" out there...

New Zealand filmmaker Lee Tamahori, who directed Once Were Warriors and the James Bond movie Die Another Day, has been arrested in a Hollywood prostitution sting while dressed in drag.
"He was arrested after approaching an undercover officer who was sitting in his car and offering to perform a sex act," Frank Mateljan of the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.

Serves himself right. Too bad Brosnan had to bow out on such a low note. I just can't see this blonde guy pulling the part off with the same sort of style and swagger.
