Yes! There is something very attractive and masculine about tall guys. Maybe higher testosterone = tallness?

Taller guys generally have bigger balls.
Balls produce testosterone (manliness)
Testosterone... well that's almost like power. Right?

Because:

1. You can't see the tall guys penis is actually undeveloped in normal situations.
2. You can't see how much is in each guys wallet.
3. You don't know what job they have...
4. Because tall guys casts a bigger shadow.
5. Because they don't know enough about the world.

Although some research has shown that taller people earn a higher average income

It depends on what sort of power you're talking about. A bigger person all-around will be more physically powerful. But height doesn't make you big, lifting heavy weights and eating like a horse makes you big.

Generally speaking, a taller person has longer limbs. Longer achilles tendons result in more efficient transfer of kinetic energy. This means that they have a bigger chance of having an ideal structure for athletic activities like sprinting.

But when you talk about social power, height is equated with desirable reproductive qualities. Taller people often need less effort to intimidate a rival, their physical presence factors into psychological influence.

However, when you're talking about fighting, everything being equal a stockier man wins. There have been no notable boxers, wrestlers, or MMA fighters who have lanky physiques.
