Why do you choose to go to a certain destination? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering, what makes you want to go to a particular tourist destination? Have you been to anything unique?

(This is for a uni assignment btw).

I was also wondering, if anyone had any ideas on a unique product that could attract tourists to Sydney Olympic Park? Something which is futuristic as well.

In terms of overseas travel, I am really in to different cultures and history, so those two things make me want to go places.

Maybe there needs to be a cool "sports" museum out there, kinda like powerhouse/questacon/AIS but all sports focused and something with hands on stuff. With sports history and sports science type stuff and activities for kids.

I'm going to America, London and possibly France for sight seeing, Croatia to see relatives and to attend a folkloric dancing seminar, Thailand for shopping.
