Could someone summarise the advantages/disadvantages of smaller companies?
Also, could someone tell me if they had a choice to work between a smaller and larger finance firm, which one would they choose and why.

Too lazy to summarise, besides- it'll have a lot of stereotypes.
However I personally, at this stage of the game, would prefer larger firms in general. There's a great potential to work on larger clients/deals, and the work experience on your CV wouldn't hurt.

Today I met someone who said they couldn't imagine going into a top tier firm, so I guess not everyone wants a big firm despite what I originally thought.
