That's not surprising. It's because the questions asked in their physics exam aren't memory based and actually require thinking unlike the hsc, which was ruined by humanities people
Plus if the physics exams are good the only notes you should have are formulas and unit conversions anyway. Like nobody else is memorising a bunch of historical experimental procedures except NSW HSC for a physics exam

I'm sorry but you're delusional af if you think these questions belong in hsc physics
VCE students have (15 minutes) time to read the entire paper of any exam, while NSW students only get 5 minutes to read 20 pages of questions.
VCE students can also take the question booklet and formula sheet home
VCE students unfortunately have to have English count towards their top 4 subjects regardless of it being the worst subject, where the 2 lower subjects have lower weighting towards atar calculation which can never be English. So their atar process is retarded though
