Which social determinants impact on trends for cancer?

the answer was D...

"Changing workplace roles and attitudes towards relationships"

Why is this so? That was my least likely choice.:burn:

PD has always had the most debatable multiple choice.

A moles on the skin, late maternal age, outdoor work and leisure.
B high-fat diets, low fibre diets, time spent in the sun and age.
C Women who have not had babies, have fair skin and a family history of cancer.
D...

Why do you want to know this? Because you as well do not understand the logic behind the answer?

Well A, B and C are not social determinants. D is social but I don't see how it impacts on cancer.

I hope we don't get a quesiton like this.

I always find pdhpe multiple choice elimination, the answer is only the answer because it has to be, not because its the proper answer lol. (If that makes sense) So yer, you know that the others aren't social determinants so it definately can't be them.

I hate multiple chocie for pd. always lose stacks of marks.

Why are they ruled out of being social determinants? There is no set list of social determinants, they differ from priority area to priority area. If there is a prescribed list I would like to see please. It's very specific but moles on skin is a determinant for cancer in my book.

Enlighten me.

well actually according to the text book, there is a list of social determinants including:
  • socioeconomic status
  • employment
  • age
  • location
  • ethnicity
  • gender
  • education

Your textbook has missed heredity then. I don't see how those textbook dot points justify D being the answer though.

"I could argue about this answer till the cows come home but everytime I do I am using up time I could spend studying."

*lesson to all*
