but the hype for william hung here in australia isnt as big as it is in america.. because maybe they havnt marketed him over here as much because after all it IS American Idol and Not Australian Idol..
you see in america he is heaps popular now.
his website gets over a million visits every day !
But Australia follows America.. Australia follows them soo much they even showed American Idol on Australian TV.. i dont see Australia showing UK Idol or Germany Idol etc etc..
So if WIlliam Hung is gonna go platnum in the USA, then he is gonna go platnum in Australia, coz Australia is a follower in everything America does.. so makes sense

UPDATE:

William Hung performed in Westfields Shopping centre in San Diego on the 25th March. The entire shopping centre (every single level) was full of people (the numbers in the tens of thousands), and the car parks were totally full. There were around 3000 people outside trying to get in, but couldnt because it was too full.
There were many william hung fans cheering and screaming.
William Hung sang 'She Bangs' and another song from his soon to be released album.

I was wondering what is so appealing about him too.
The guy can't hold a tune or can't dance for sh1t. It's a disgrace to think about how popular he has become because of AI when there are heaps more talanted and passionate people out there. I wonder what his fans first thought of him when he appeared on AI?
