Adium uses native OSX skinning, thats why its so pretty...GAIM is ugly, Trillian had some great skins for 2.x but 3.x is rather disappointing

i just downloaded it, wish i didnt, it really IS slow when you wanna sign in.

i have to type my password everytime now, not like before where it automatically signs you in

i can not sign in being offline, or change my status while im not signed it like it will always had me online with this one, compared to the old one

when you see your contact list, you can usually can see a mini pic of your contacts dp instead of that green thing, now its that green symbol thing


for some reason, when i got to sign in with the new 1, all the contacts in which i deleted and blocked, all came back on my contact list, i was like wtf and had to re-delete them


its probably because im not used to it yet but its starting to annoy me at times, i had to wait for msg plus on sunday, i had msger 7.0 i miss umlimited nudges

It signs you in automatically, remembers each one of the accounts used on my computer when told to. This is a problem on your end. The only thing that I can't confirm is that it runs 'slower' it seems fine on my setup.

I hate when people blame the program for their idiocy.

i <3 the new WLM!

it allows you to send messeges to your offline contacts! (and delivers them when they first come online).

you can appear offline yet still able to chat! (good for covert stuff there)

with your (and ur contact's) shared folder already set, it's like handling files on a network. (drag and drop to my documents or whatever)

EDIT: Whats with the hold up of "Messenger Plus! Live"? It's practically sunday today and it says:

The new version of Messenger Plus! (4.00), distributed under the name "Messenger Plus! Live", will be officially released this Saturday, June 24th, at 23:40 GMT.

Note that the release date for plus is in GMT. Australia is +10 GMT at the moment (i.e release will be 9.40am sunday our time)

1. Uninstall any versions of messenger you have installed.
2. Install MSN Messenger 7.5
3. Then rename its folder to "MSN Messenger 7.5" (From "MSN Messenger")
4. Install WLM.

This is correct. Partly because Plus no longer supports plugins (uses scripts now instead)

Hmm shouldnt be. They improved sign-in times dramatically in the 2nd last beta version. Sign-in for me is almost instant (no more than 2 seconds).
