We don't have a text book! There is probably 1 in the library though. Yeah the other class is doing that elective

Doing a speech on Women and Re
I can sympathise - I have to do a speech next week on the role of women in society/church/workplace, and am finding it very boring.
Try looking in the 'New Studies in religion' textbook, by Terence Lovat and John McGrath, it has a lot of useful stuff.
living religion; can't remember the author i'm afraid.
The author is Peter Mudge (et al).

we had our religion half yearlies yesterday,

it wasn't so hard.
foundation studies I and II
(religious expression from 1901 to present + aboriginal spirituality)

10 multiple choice - 10 marks
7 'short' answers (they were half a page to a full A4 page responses) for a total of 30 marks

---
40 marks culmulative

we weren't pressed for time,
1 hr 35 min exam, 5 mins reading time
most people finished in under 30-45 mins (or maybe that was an indication as to their level of understanding :D)

the better students used all the time,

it was funny though,
half a page allocated to a 7 marker (discuss/evaluate high order verb)

then you've got a mixed bag,
6 marks for 1/2 page
3 marks for 1/2 page
4 marks for 1/2 page ...

but the final page (a full A4 page) was only worth 4!

all in all, a great exam :)

(what's religious studies? you mean catholic studies? the non-UAI course)

1U studies of rel for me, because i'm so religious and ... stuff ;)

scummy mmc can't offer 2U sheets/docs to pats
so that's why we don't offer 2U SOR here ...

i'll get over it ... 1U is good, but not good enough :p
