Free food?
I think I'll be asking some friends to "pig out".
As for the women's edition of the tert, well I always read it, out loud, at uni, while laughing my arse off. Let's just say it'll be interesting. Unless some sexist bitch decides that we should segregate people (like they are with the whole women's week, segregation I tells you, and it'll be the death of us all), and the tert would only be available for women. But then I really wouldn't be missing out on much, now would I?

Yeah, Gareth (Albino Boy) Ward is always good for a bit of entertainment... Gareth seems to be a member for everything, I wouldn't be surprised if he was also a Labor Councilor too. Nothing was as good as the punch up he caused at the unibar during one general meeting between differing sections of the uni political world...

As for Annaliese.... this thread would likely to be deleted if I went on.

All it seems is the Tert circus is just rolling in for another show...

We should make posters

Coming To A Uni Near Uni: The Tert Circus

Seemingly every week, a new and just as pointless celebration of a group which totally discounts the majority of the university student body. For just the admission of your student union fees, you can fund the ludicrous infighting, left-wing views and often immature waste of other peoples lives... the wasting of our time which we won't get back.

I wouldn't be voicing my opinions on women's issues so overtly in a public forum like this. You might not see your next birthday. :p

I don't have a problem with women issues, I have a problem with Tert and all those associated.

Fuckers talking about bowel movements in my nice blue stockings week post. A pretty informative post if i do say so myself, the week for women is on next week, and im pretty excited...and im not even a chick! HA! Im always up for some good laughs at uni.

The tert rocks. Ive been taking it, and ripping pages out and throwing them at people in class, its awesome quality for that, except for the cover, that doesn't seem to scrunch up too well.

The complaint in the last one about someone stealing piles of them and throwing them out was sort of comical. Personally I just try to do my best to ignore them, although when I get bored I usually end up reading them, then regretting it.

I always manage to get a copy and read the first few articles. Half of the time I don't understand what's going on?

I think that was my mate doing that. If that was the issue on christianity and all that, then im pretty sure it was him, cos he would bring like a pile of them to class and just rip them up. He's pretty christian, so he wasn't too happy with the crap they were putting out, so my money would be on him.

Its all bullcrap anyways. Read the articles. Just a load of crap. And to think that the fuckers writing that are getting paid per word. Yet, normal uni students have no idea wtf they are going on about, or can't understand through their sarcasm and cynicism towards the uni. Yet the uni pays them to write that crap. Its a vicious cycle.

Good on your mate if it was, the editing is a joke. Most the shit they publish, in it's amazing 'save the world' enlightened wisdom, seems to manage to marginalise one group or another. It's like through trying to support all these individual little bullshit causes they just manage to deepen the rifts that are there in the first place. Ten points for effort, but minus about a fucking million for tact (or lack thereof).

Like I said before, next time I feel like ranting about something I've got no clue at all about, and about something which doesn't *actually* involve me in any way, shape, or form, I know who to write to.

Your spot on, with every action they take in promoting some marginalised minority which seemingly only includes themselves and their best mates sister, they only manage to alienate the vast majority. And when they do that, all they achieve is making the situation worse for themselves. I wish they would stop with the 'we're a minority and special because of it' and just accept that they are just ordinary people like the rest of the well adjusted students on campus.

Fuckers
