ive got pretty smart people in my year...as for my school i dunno how u guy worked out the rank...maybe i should have picked up advanced english to save my arse against scaling

basically because your subjects are poor scalers (standard english, general maths, biz, etc)

The scaling isn't that harsh!

I'm guessing low 90s cos my marks were sorta similar to that, and I did a few of those subjects...I also came 4th in modern history, and 1st in Legal studies (with about the same amount of people in the course), and 5th for general maths (with a few less people in my course...), and I came 11th in english (except I did advanced...but there were less people in my course)

So yeah, overall vas seems to be doing slightly better than I did, and I got 92...and although many of her/his (?) subjects are not scaled well, by the sounds of it her/his school is better than mine was...

So yes-for all those reasons I say low 90s. Unless you majorly bomb out in the HSC, I really doubt you'd get in the 60s/70s...

Low 90s or thereabouts - could be better or worse dependin' on school and Exam performance. The subjects which might hurt would be General Maths, History and Music.

i don fink so cos my sister ripped english standard,
and the only different subjects she did was chemistry instead of my 4unit maths...

and she did alright in 3unit maths, eco and physics..
she only got 88~
