hello,

Im deciding on my major project for woodwork HSC 2007 and was wondering if the markers allowed you to have other materials with/on/in the project you make as long as it is to do with the theme of the project? or do i have to take a photo of the final product with the other materials then remove them for marking?

Hope you understand what i mean :p

Thanks

If you're doing timber and funishings I don't see why not.

For example.. an entertainment unit would look unfinished without say glass in the windows, or my dressing table would have looke dunfinished without a mirror in the mirror frame.

Thanks...

How about if you were making something to hold a plant or a fish tank etc etc. can you incorporate other objects like that?

Hi,

Another question relating to the IT Timber portfolio:

I am including a bibliography at the end of the portfolio but do I need to have references throughout the portfolio?

Also should i include a section in the portfolio for my journal containing dates of discussions, ideas, research etc etc... or does it go under a seperate area?
(I.e. Research, development of ideas...?)

thanks

You do the discussions and development of ideas ect, but I think it's also good if you put it in your journal as well, so you have a solid documentation of your work throuhout.

And as for referencing.. I never referenced one thing in high school :p so I'm not the person to answer that for you.
