How can one of the biggest companies in australia (i read that something like 12 c of every dollar spent in Australia is spent at Coles or Woolworths) not have made group certificates yet?

or is it the individual store that is responsible?


have any woolies peeps gotten the GC yet?

P.s. on a side note, wen i was in the cash office, i say a trolly load of paper, that was all tax shit, all marked in big letters DO NOT DESTROY UNTILL 2010. i found that pretty....cool

what do you mean they won't send them out? surely they can't expect you to pick it up. i had a few of mine sent out to me when i was too lazy to get them, and when i quit they mailed it out. if it's sitting there long enough they'll send it to you. just depends on how quickly you wnat to get your return done.

Well usually they give them out when you collect ur pay slips. My woolies doesent send them to u by mail.

Get them to fax it to you... if you have a fax.

Else, ring up head office, tell them what your manager's not doing... remind them you can't do your tax without it. They should get him to mail it out, or maybe even get a copy for you. Tell them he/she lost it or something and they'll make you a new one, with a bit of luck...

AANNNDDD, be as pushy as possible. Anything to cause grief with woolies head office (or their subsidiary companies) is good, in my opinion.

I got mine July 1st too, it depends on your individual store, I earned $8000. They have to send them by mail though, if u dont pick them up by tomorrow i think it is, if you dont work there anymore they are supposed to send them out to you as soon as they do them.

If you quit they should send it to you: they probably don't want you coming into their secure back room areas anymore, if you've left, and don't want you bothering staff to go get it... Given that, I had mine sent to me after I left Franklins a few years ago.
