You are kidding me? Don't drink coke at 8 pm.....you are the one and only person i know that gets affected by the caffeine in COKE.

I drink two cans of V and still sleep two hours laters....lol

I thought it was okay the exam.....dont really care about it there are only like 6 people in our grade who do it, it scales crappily..and everyone who does it basically studied for two hours or less for trials and we all did okay so non one actaully studies for religion at my school

How do you people do it lol caffeine or not I can't sleep until at least 3 hours after I go to bed... and I can't sleep for more than 4 or so hours in a row :( lmao it's killed my HSC, this insomnia that I have.

I'm hoping for 85 or so after aligning, by the way... not sure bout the early stuff (8-9 for multiple choice, not sure about short answers) but I liked my essays. I do 2unit by the way lol

My teacher had a theory that it would be this way. He pointed out that this is the last year of that course and that the exam setters would want to make it easier as they did with the 2001 paper (the last paper of its syllabus) in order to show the course as a success.

2001 wasnt a success due to the limited number of band 6's that were given out at both 1 and 2 unit level

plus 2000 was the last paper for that syllabus-> 2001 was the first for this syllabus that you sat hence there being a standards package for 2001 and 2002 and not 2000 as a new standard had to be set for a standards based course

Im guessing they didnt want to repeat the disaster of 2001 going into a new syllabus/exam (2007) which should mean that next years HSC will be as easy/easier

im pretty sure that in the ethics qu by examples it did not mean like violence war and piece because if u look a tthe syllabus, it has the dot point 'role, nature and SIGNIFICANCE of ethics- then has all the ten commandments blah blah (which would be ur examples)
if it wanted u to mention violence war and peace it would've more oviously referered to the dot point that that is under' the influence of ethics on every day life'

but you had to mention it...that was part of the syllabus. we were required to know it and talk about it even though it wasnt explicitly stated...

no not necessarily, that one question isnt designed to encapsulate the whole cross relgion study, it tests part of it, just as the section two does. like, in the past, its asked about the influence on bioethics etc, and u havnt had to talk about the ethics stystem, jus the bioethics and stuff, even though that is in the syllabus. believe me, it did not refer to like modern day stuff, examples could mean- ')talking about variants in judaism- and this is ur example and u then evaluate the signficance by saying, thus by incorportating a system that appeals to different variants with different focuses, the jewish ethical sysstem is an effective, highly specialised system that has increasing validity in the lives of the believers.------example

Perhaps you do one unit because it's not as simple.

You needed to have examples of their work.

well who cares really.

Religions is definitely the worst, as in the most boring of all subjects.

I thought the exam was fairly easy...especially the essay questions. it was my first hsc exam cos we have an accelerated class and so i studied my butt off and think it might have paid off.... the atheism question was the only one i had a bit of trouble with. i kind of figured what the sacred stories and writings question would be because the last two years its covered the origins, basic parts of it and violence war and peace part so i figured it would probly be the evil and love stuff just because they dont generally repeat stuff without covering the rest of the syllabus first....but i think i went ok.:)
