Oh crap.
My short story is not short at all...
Its... 8500 words, way above limit...
The story line's good, I'm proud of it.. but it's too long...
Well, looks like someones gonna loose some marks.

According to my teacher none of the markers count the words or anything
Apparently going about 10% over the word limit is acceptable, so long as its not all waffle, or pointless description.
Don't stress! At least its finished!

My short story was also over the limit. I shortened it to ten words below, so thats okay. I'm worried about a guy at my school though...his short story was about 9000 + and his reflection statement was only about 400 something

lazarus, i think you really are god.. you seem to pop up whenever a board of studies misunderstanding occurs (not that the above was a misunderstanding on leap's part). whenever anyone needs to know something - there's lazarus! no one has to call you, you always know where you are needed...

yeah if its ten percent many of the markers, talking to the senior marker at our school, dont care, its only if its absolutely tedious nonesense will they take notice and PUNISH YOU BY SENDING YOU TO HELL!!!!

I wonder how many people across the state actually ended up going under/over? Will they still penalise if too many people all broke the word limit somehow?
