Where can i get information on work experience

how i can apply for work experience in the "accounting/IT field"

is there any website that has a list of numbers or any information

thanx anything will be useful,

it is for my future resume, i need things organised now

I did work experience through school cos I did a VET course and then I just decided to write letters to the BIG companies I was interested in and get rejected.. but nah I went to girlfriend for a week.. interesting but not a mag i like to read but hey it has a spot in my resume.. I was in the mag too! 5 sec of fame ahh...
Dunno if this is helping but also when u do work exp they want u to be covered by insurance or something and usually ur school covers it for u.. check with them

For the workplace to be covered you have to do it through school. They won't accept you if you do it independently for insurance reasons (unless you are being paid for it)

at TAFE they have a special person who finds workplacements for people (i forgot her job title). If ur doing it at skool ask ur careers advisor?
