woolies isnt bad.. if your supervisors are cool and the people working there are friendly..

yeh cuz they usually have different prices.. but after a year or so you know practically all the codes anyway so you dont even realise when you type them in
unlike coles who have pictures and they dont need to remember names/codes

grrr i so want to bad rep you right now *shakes fist* gah i have to work my birthday to 9-1 at the shop then 2:30-6:30 at woolies then i have to study for ext. cro i blame you. further eveidence that you suck

What about if I did a Bar Course.

Just as difficult. I think the industry considers experience as the most important thing on your resume. It's probably the high pressure environment.

Many places will train you aswell.. and usually if you have little/no experience smaller pubs (not so busy) will hire you - hence you gain experience and are then able to possibly get a job at a busier more central pub/club.

went to every pub in my area with my very empty resume
got a call
got a job, got trained and still there 7 months later.
earning 17-25 dollars an hour (+ loading + tips) depending on the day

its not as hard as you think, give it a go, see if it works out.
