shiza i have work 4-9pm
which sux ass..but hopefully its dead quite coz everyone will go out and do their own thing and not come shopping
and for those who do come shopping...dam them..

so depressing at the thought of having no plans ...was invited to 2 partys but they have both been cancelled..wtf is the chance of that?
all my asswipe friends are doing their own thing...with "other" friends that i refuse to associate with
oh wellz...quite night for me...on BOS ..yaaay

yeh, the public holidays for this xmas/ny season has been shit...both eves on a sat and xmas/ny on a sunay...spewing. I am too magget to work out how often that happens. However NYE of Xmas is never a public holidays...and if a public holiday ever falls on a sunday, it is never 'p.h pay', only sunday pay. Weird workings of the law.

But if a public holiday falls on a sunday they (the government) usually makes the monday the holiday.

As in with Christmas Monday was the Christmas holiday and Tuesday was the Boxing Day Holidayyyyyyyyyyyyy

ARGH just got home from work... so stuffed. Had someone call in sick, had to work 15 hours straight.... no break, hard work.

i had to work on NYE from 4.45pm - 9.45pm...wasn't too bad as most people didn't want to come to the movies, only had 400 people!!

you know what sux ass
at my work if we are contracted to work on a public holiday when the store is closed (like sunday new years day for example)
us contracters get paid for it but we dont go in to work
however because we get paid for it we have to work public holiday monday and we dont get double time and a half

im compfused....like wtf
i could have not worked on monday and still been paid as i am entitled to it
but they made me work and be paid normal rates and never even told us about it
like wtf..
its probably really confusing..i was overly confused

but they say we ar only entitled to one public holiday benifit...but its like wtf

its a family business, so maybe something worked out. i know people were working 12+ hr shifts (with breaks though) during the pre christmas all night shopping at westfields.

i worked new years eve from 7.30am to 5.30pm. i was so tired by 2-ish on new years day.
