hi can anyone think of a case where someone was denied a position because they were disabled?

hmmm.. i gotta look into that one. alot of the discrimination cases are age and gender ones... lol

i'll post when i find a couple...

yeah, i know, they are hard to find - all of the ones in my text are gender. Thanks, help is appreciated

found one:

Kitt v. Tourism Commission [1987]. Page 373 of Longman Legal Studies (the textbook we use at school). just tell me here if you don't have the book and i'll type up the details.

Kitt v Tourism Commission NSW.
it was a promotion though not the position, google it. He was a cave guide and wanted a permanent position - but he had epilepsy, appealed, decision was in his favour.

yep. as mentioned above a summary of it is on Page 373 of Longman Legal Studies...
