okai. did crap in everything.. but assuming i killed the hsc.. with 70+ in everything, and possibly at band 6 in maths or eco..

subject | trial mark | rank

maths2u | 55% | 21/34
eng stand | 45% | 34/61
economics | 50% | 7/16
Business services | 70% | 4/25
Biology | 30 | 27/33

*sighs... im really HOPING for a 74 UAI, so i can get in B Arts at UWS..

at the moment, i don't think you ahve much chance...
assuming you got 70 in the hsc in business services, biology and english, and 90 in maths and eco, according to SAM you'd only get 75.35.
However, you also have to consider that the marks input into SAM would only be your HSC marks, and the HSC is only worth 50%.
so your uai would be considerably lower than that.
Sorry.

then what is the use of the hsc..??
then everyone that is getting her marks should just give up?

Actually, the marks and ranks are not THAT awful. If he/she can scrape 75, that would still be fine. Focus on English, maths and bio. Work really hard and things might JUST work out. Dont rely on miracles though cos you desperatly need good HSC marks now. Dont give up but dont become complacent either.

well, if you have a look at the posts for HSC results in 2002 and 2003, i'm sure you will find lower results

as for you.... i say you may just make 75 if you try hard
