So heres the email, worth going or just a waste of time?

Just a reminder of the O-Week lecture for COMP1911 and COMP1917 students.

The lecture will be held at 10am on Wednesday 24 February in Clancy Auditorium.

It will give a brief introduction to COMP1911 and COMP1917 and
explain the differences
between these two courses. It will be particularly useful for
students who are trying
to decide which of the two courses to take but there will also be
plenty of useful
information for those of you who have already decided.

I'd always recommend to try and attend your first lectures for all your courses.

Those first lecturers are the make-or-break point of deciding whether future lectures are worth attending.

It depends, are you tossing up between higher or normal? If so its worth going, if not then theres nothing they wont tell you in your first lecture in week 1.

yep, you should go to that one. it will most likely be the huge introduction to the course so that they can get straight into the course content in the week1 lectures

also make sure you go complete Lab0, easy marks
