what are you planning to study at uni?
if the course you want to do requries any 2 units of maths,
don't drop it.
if not, and if you find hard to keep up, then drop it:)

What is with all these threads? "What should I drop? Why should I drop it?"

We've got to stop babying these people. They need to work stuff out for themselves. If you suck at math, and you're not going to uni, drop it! IMO if you're not going to uni you should do 5 vegie subjects and 10 units, relax and enjoy your 17 52 minute frees a fortnight (in the case of my school).

Heck, if I didn't feel like doing medicine, I'd do mainly VET subjects and standard english.

I'd do:

English Standard
Drama
Entertainment
Food Technology
Hospitality

or in a Catholic school:

English Standard
Studies of Religion II
Drama
Entertainment
Hospitality

if you plan to go uni, not many courses function without math.

depends what you want to do.

General Mathematics - the new syllabuses - give you much better preparation for courses like nursing, paramedical sciences and just science in general. :)
Hopefully the will be implemented with Year 11 2010, but somehow it doesn't seem likely.

*fingers crossed*

Factors in your decision:
-what you plan to studying at UNI
-whether you are confident in doing well in your other subjects
-whether you've actually given math general a good shot (it's early days yet and it's not the hardest thing in the world - i know guys who are hopeless who have put in a little bit of effort and got good marks)
-how much time studying for math takes away from your other subjects
