USYD or UNSW. I wanna to med at UNSW or then combined law at either.

i wanted to go to sydney pretty badly until i realised they didn't have any courses that i really wanted to do. arts advanced is one of my preferences but i don't really want to do it. my first choice is uts for business.

University of Melbourne!! This is where I would absolutely love to go, but it's competitive so I'm not getting my hopes up too much...first preference is Media & Communications, which has an ENTER of like 98 or something (ENTER is directly equivalent to UAI) and then second preference is Arts at UMelb, which has an ENTER of 90! This is the highest ENTER/UAI I've seen anywhere for Arts...

In NSW my first two preferences are CSU for Journalism and then UTS for Journalism...both chosen because of their strong industry links, good reputation in the field, etc.

i kinda like the idea of melbourne too
the enter for arts/law is only 0.1 lower than sydney
the upside is i was reading some stuff they sent out and unlike sydney, melbourne accepts ppl below that uai in their second round offers for law
apparently as low as 96 can get in

I'm going to Sydney Uni because it has the course I want to do as well as its internatinally renowned reputation

I went to university of New england for the UMAT exam, and found the place really dead and boring.

ah well, I wanna do Agriculture/Agribusiness -- UNE i suppose to be one of the best for that (Rural links, ect. )

But I guess we'll see...If I don't like it, I can always change

Hmm, i too went to a private school, but snobby is the last word id use to describe the vast majority of the people there, maybeabout ten or 15 out of 180 would meet that desription
