Hello everyone! For modern, (and ancient:dog:) I have to do a 1500 word bibliography and speech. I'm fine with writing the speech, but I've never really written a bibliography before.

I would like to know the conventions of a historical bibliography, some important ideas/things to incorporate in or any advice how to boost the overall quality of my bibliography :) The question involves answering historical context, background, rise to prominence, and deeds for a chosen figure. I chose Stalin, because why not, if that helps answering your question

Thank you very much!! :D :D :D

A bibliography is just a list of the sources you used in your research including title/author/year/etc in the required formatting of your school.

Are you talking about an annotated bibliography? In an annotated bibliography, you give a paragraph explaining the basic argument of the source, and an evaluation of it.
