Writing a reflective journal entry??? (1 Viewer)

Hello

Just started my HSC course, and have recieved notification of my first english assessment.
Anyway i hate english, and it has to be one of my worst subjest.
I need a little bit of help in writing a reflective journal.
Anyway, this is meant to be an Area of Study portfolio for Advanced English.

I have to find three different stimulus tests related to the concept of imaginative journeys. Each test needs to be a different form (eg poem, short story, advertisement, review, news report etc)

I then have to use each stimulus text as the basis of a different composition.

I have to compose one narrative, one reflective journal entry and one speech suitable for HSC students studying this course.


The problem is that how am i meant to write a reflective journal and analysis the stimulus text about the concept of imaginative journeys.
I mean, a reflective journal is usually a dairy entry of your thoughts, not an essay about imaginative journey concept in a text.

So how should i go about composing this reflective journal peice ?
It has to be 800 words, same as the other two compositions.

when they ask for a 'reflective journal piece' i think they are asking about your thoughts, but at the same time analyse your texts. add your opinion of the texts, how they show imaginative journeys. do you agree/diasagree? blah blah
