im trying to improve my essay writing skills for modern history and know how to write a well structured essay, content isnt a problem just expressing it in the correct way.
got any tips?

Ok:

Intro: Say what your essay is about
Paragraphs: Say what happened, back it up using examples from a source, assess the reliablity of the source, assess the usefulness of the source, link to next issue. Rinse and repeat
Conclusion: Say what your essay talked about.

your modern history essay should aim to answer the following questions
-What is it? (event/place/person/etc)
-what caused it? (if applicable)
-what were the effects?
-Are there any further effects? (like a chain reaction or snowball effect)
-try to use facts and statistics to back these up (quotes and p.o.v can be useful but subjective)
-analyse your evidence (what do it mean)
