i got my enrolment day on the 20th of Feb. as i got to apply for exemptions etc.......

im writing up my timetable now and is completely lost... when i go to enrolment are there people there to help me fill it out or should i just write it up how i think its right?? ... i have so many clashes its crazy... pluse i have a few saying lecture_1 and lecture_2 plus a tutorial.. so i put all three in my timetable correct... and for MKTG101 there's only 1 lecture no tutorial ... is that right? Plus i dunno wat im getting exemptions for..... so wat do i not put in timetable ... ahhh STRESSSSSSSSSSS .. i guess uni crap is kicking in LOL

Have a go now, but don't stress if it isn't perfect - they give out another blank timetable on the day that you can make nice and perfect - you also have to have someone go over your timetable and approve it anyway.

With the exemptions stuff, you might be able to find out from either the MQ website or the website of the college from which you recieved your Adv Dip.

mktg101 - looks like there is only 1 lecture so you must be doing it right http://www.timetables.mq.edu.au/class/2006/ttmaker/showfullunit.asp?UnitPrefix=MKTG&UnitNum=101

write it how you think is right and that will make it quicker on the day

if you're getting exemptions, you're still going to enrol in the subject aren't you? then you still have to include it on your timetable.

on the far side of campus (on F side), where all the construction was taking place and they had a crappy path to maq shops around it.

C5C is still there, though it may not be in a few years. Someone here said they were thinking of ripping it down because it looks ugly.

how do i write these on my timetable like in between the time situated.. say .. BBA103 F/1/D lecture_1 class_01 Mon 12-14 E7B MASON ill have to write all of that in the timeframe is that correct?

wow seems like you'll be in some of my lectures..

You just write (L) BBA103 in the box.. providing it's in the right date and time frame

(L) = Lecture
(T) = Tute, etc it's all explained on the sheet

You'll have to write the availability (eg. D1/D2/E1/E1) in the boxes at the top

Once you submit your timetable, which is in E7B i believe, where all the computers are, they'll give you a printout with all your classes and times and rooms, then collect the piece of paper you drew all over

yeah, this semester i'll be doing BBA103 - Business Eco, MKTG101 - Marketing Fundamentals , POL167 - Thinking Politically ... and i cant decide between ISYS123 - Intro to Info. Systems or SOC175 - Australian and Global Society or DEM127 Elements of Demography ....

i have till the 20th till i decide ...

Only do SOC175 if you know you can handle essays.

I heard ISYS123 was easy...... but i'm doing that next yr cos i got 12CP/semester already

Also.. you might want to decide on a second time (2nd preference) since you're enrolling so late and alot of the spaces might be taken.. even with me enrolling on the 10th I couldnt get 2 classes I wanted..

But if you cant be screwed to decide it's alright since they have the whole list of alternative times on the computer on the day

And if you think you REALLY cant do it.. just ask someone on the day.. but I might have to add dont expect too much attention from some of the people walking around in C5A226.. they kinda just barred me and I had to like.. guess everything

i think DEM127 is full of maths related stuff...

ISYS123 clashes with my other subjects

SOC127 fits prefectly ... but am unsure if i can put up with the load of essay writing.. as im already doing POL167 which i assume is mostly essay writing...

... totally confused... should i go PHIL137 instead... but i assume its as much essay writing as the others... which leaves ACST101 which is finance and i think i'll suck at it so bad....
