M.O.P went to Roc-A-Fella...? When did that happen...?
Roc-A-Fella, that's it! They joined Roc a few years ago.LMF^^ said:M.O.P went to Roc-A-Fella...? When did that happen...?
Yeah well Mobb Deep haven't been selling well in the last couple of years (like the article said) so i guess thru the unit they wanna expand their market (people who like gunit records) and can hook up with hott beat makers (dre, storch) etc. As i said before, lets hope 50 cent isnt all over the album, coz that would suck.Adrian. said:I don't like the sound of MOP on G-Unit, I think it'd just be Jay-Z's label (can't remember the name) all over again. G-Unit (and Jay-Z's label) are too commercial for MOP and they just have to recognise that without changing their style they're not going to be stars. I think the reason they didn't release anything on Rough Rider (?) is cause Jay-Z wanted them to tone their styles down a bit and I guess MOP didn't want to.
I don't think Mobb Deep on G-Unit would be good either but I think Mobb Deep feel off a while ago anyway (haven't heard their new album yet though).
Mobb Deep don't need to hook up with any 'hott beat makers', Havoc and Alchemist are great on the beats. It's Prodigy that needs to get back to him old self (Infamous, Hell On Earth) with the rhymes. Havoc is improving as an MC which is good. 50 Cent better not be on one track, he was alright when How To Rob dropped but is just utter crap now.shady_03 said:and can hook up with hott beat makers (dre, storch) etc. As i said before, lets hope 50 cent isnt all over the album, coz that would suck.
Yeah they dont need it, but it would be mad hearing them rip over a dre track...Adrian. said:Mobb Deep don't need to hook up with any 'hott beat makers', Havoc and Alchemist are great on the beats.
